Then, froman
organizational
pointofview, thesites implementahealth
and safetymanagement system that iscompliantwith the international
standard OHSAS 18001. Furthermore, all the sites (excluding sites
acquired in 2014) have been certified to this same standard by an
independentexternalorganization.
But it is from thebehavioral standpoint that the LISI Grouphas chosen
toput up the greatest efforts. The point here ismainly togive security
the place it deserves: it should be the primary concern at the heart of
workshops, since these arewhere the vastmajority of accidents occur.
This ismaterialized by the fact that Safety is the first issue dealt with
duringthedailyPSMrituals(ProblemSolvingManagement)ateach level
of plantmanagement (Autonomous ProductionGroup –Autonomous
ProductionUnit–Site).
Inaddition, in2015,LISIwillbeginthe implementationofaSafetyCulture
program.Thisprogrammust:

Supply to themanagement of (from the plant manager to the shift
supervisors) thekeys tounderstanding thebehaviorsand the levers for
actingagainstthem

Everyoneshouldparticipate increatingaworkenvironmentwhere risk is
under control.Andeachemployeemust alsopayattention to theirown
safetyaswellasthatoftheircolleagues.

The agreements related to health and safety at work are incorporated
intothe listpresented in1.3.2.

The establishment of a genuine safety culture takes time. However,
LISI recordeda steady improvement in the fieldof safetywith thework
conducted inthreeareas: technical,organizational,andhuman.

At theendof 2014, the frequency rateofworkplaceaccidentswithwork
stoppagewhich involvedaLISIemployeeortemporarystaff(TF0)further
improved to achieve 7.4 accidents per million hours worked, or 29%
better than in 2013. The frequency rate of accidents with andwithout
stoppage (TF1)stoodat12.3,asignificantdropof-24%comparedto2013.
Over the long term, thecontinuouseffortofallemployeeshas improved
theTF1by62%comparedwith2007.
In2014,certainoftheGroupsplantsdidnothaveanyworkplaceaccidents
involving timeoffworksuchasCityof Industry,VignouxsurBarangeon,
Escondido,CejcorBeijing.Othersdidnothaveanyaccidents–eitherwith
orwithoutworkstoppage–suchasLureorShanghai.
Nevertheless, the LISI Group recorded 33 occupational illnesses over all
its sites, despitemany effortsmade in the implementationof handling
equipmentandthewearingofhearingprotection.
Although the seriousness rate TG0, which represents the number of
days lostasa resultofaworkplaceaccidentper thousandhoursworked,
improvedby9% incomparisonwith lastyear,and remainsata low level.
Thisrate fellby63%since2007to0.25 inDecember2014.
Eachemployeeplaysamajorrole intermsofpreventionandLISIworksto
involveallemployees inthisprocess.

Training
The Group attaches particular importance to the training of its
employees and considers that the enforcement of employees' skills
is a major factor for the improvement of quality, efficiency and
competitiveness.
LISI ensures that each employee, regardless of his/her age or position,
has access throughout his career to the training courses necessary for
the constructionofhis careerpathandhisadaptation to changes in the
businesses.
The internalandexternal trainingbudgetacrossallLISIGroupsitesstood
at€5.1million in2014,equivalentto1.5%oftheGroup’spayroll.
This budget covered the provision of 245,000 hours of training to the
Group'semployees,namely1.4%ofthetotalhoursworkedduring2014.
Hence, over 9,600 employees have had at least seven hours training
(90%oftheGroup’semployees), representingan increaseof48%on2013
(+20pts).
LISI activelypursues its contribution to the integrationof youngpeople
intothe labormarketbyallowing largenumbersofstudentstocomeand
discover thebusinessand itsactivities,whether through thecompletion
of internshipsorperiodsofapprenticeship.
During 2014, LISI welcomed 594 interns, 257 apprentices and 62 work
experiencecontractsacrossall itssitesand itsthreedivisions.
