1.4.1Health&safetyatwork
The LISI Group Senior Management became seriously involved at its
highest levels intheareasofhealth, safetyandtheenvironment.
Atall levels, theGrouphasas itsobjectiveto:

Reach the excellence level of performance in the areas of Health and
Safety,whilekeepingcontrolover theoccupationalhazardsgenerated
by itsactivities.

Makehealth - safetyavector of continuous improvement, ameans to
move forward, including inareasthatarenotdirectlyrelatedto it.
Inorder toensureandachieve thisgoal, LISIhasadoptedHSE (Health
SafetyEnvironment) policyandorganization to identifykeyareas for
improvement,prioritizegoals,andderivetheappropriateactions.This
policy and this organization are based on the international OHSAS
18001 standard (international standard governing themanagement
systemofhealthand safetyatwork).
In order to provide itself with the resources to succeed in this field,
each production plant as at least one HSE Leader whose role is
to lead the HSE activity for his plant and is the guarantor for the
implementationof anHSEmanagement system.
In addition, the LISI Group has a risk committee whose role is to
analyze accidents and major incidents within the group and to
establishHSE strategies aimed at reducing risks related towork, the
environment and loss of goods. The risk committee is chairedby the
President/CEO of the LISI Group and the Director of Manufacturing
andProcurement. It comprises theHSEmanagers fromeachdivision,
the HSE coordinator for the LISI Group (who leads it) and the
insurancebrokerworkingonbehalfof theLISIGroup.
In terms of safety, acceptance and dedication of each employee of
theGroup are actively sought in the process of improving the safety
ofour sites.
OnMay 6, 2014 anHSE Forumbrought together theManagement of
eachdivision,all theSiteDirectorsand theHSEManagersand theLISI
Group; theyhave set for themselvesambitiousgoals. Inparticular:

In termsof safety: at theendof2016, all thesitesof theLISIGroupwillbe
obliged to display the frequency rate of workplace accidents, with and
withoutworkstoppage(TF1)oflessthan10days,andthisincorporatingthe
temporaryemployeesworkingonbehalfofthecompany.

Intermsofenvironment:eachofthethreedivisionsoftheLISIGroupmust
reduce its industrial impactbyreducing itsconsumptionofenergyby10%
incomparisonwiththe2014figures.

IntermsofHSE:theLISIGroupisseekingtoembedacompanyHSEculture.
These objectives will be achieved via the implementation of an HSE
ExcellenceprogramandaSafetyCultureprogram.
AnewHSEForumwill takeplace in2017 to reporton theachievementof
theseobjectivestoalltheplantmanagersandHSEmanagers.
The General Management of LISI has undertaken to put in place an
ambitiousprogramaimedatachieving industrialexcellence in the fieldof
HSE.Thisprogram isaimedat:

Initiatinga federatingandstructuringproject

Providingtheresourcestoachieveourobjectives

Utilizingthebestpracticesexistingwithinthegroup.
LISIdefinesHSEExcellenceasthe fact:

in the field of HSE, complyingwith applicable regulations, being a
champion incertifications

of having thebest practices inHSEmanagement, leadership in the
field, resolutionofproblemsandcontrol of risks

of setting ambitious objectives in terms of health, safety and the
environment.
This is the reasonwhyLISIhas launched thisprogramofwhich theclear
objective is to make available to each plant tools for leadership and
assistancetoenablethemtoachieveHSEExcellence.
Furthermore,
