Most of the energy is used for production. It must then distinguish
processeswhose consumption is directly related to theproductionand
process - suchas thermal treatment -whichhavea fixedshareofenergy
consumption independent of theproduction (rise in temperature, etc.).
Therefore, a decline in production does not translate directly into an
immediatedecline inenergyconsumption. Thisexplains thedifferences
betweendivisions.
Nevertheless, the case of LISI AEROSPACE proves that the increase in
production isnotattheexpenseoftheenvironment.Therefore,thanksto
abetter rationalizationof theprocess,LISImayshowadecreaseof9%of
itsconsumption,0.273MWh/k€production.

CLIMATECHANGE
2.4.1Emissionsofgreenhousegases
Inaccordancewith theGrenelle II lawand its implementingdecrees, LISI
hasestablished forthe firsttimeanAssessmentofGreenhouseGases for
its legalentitieswithmorethan500people inFrance.
Therefore, in2011,equivalentCO2greenhousegasdischargesaccounted
for2,276 tons forBlancAero Industries,2,348 tonsCreuzet, 5,542 tons for
Indraero, and 15,606 tons for Former,makinga total for theseentitiesof
25,772tons.
The analysis in the report shows that the main source of release of
GreenhouseGases isrelatedtoenergyconsumption.
ThisconfirmsLISI'sgeneralaction to reduce itscarbon footprint through
itsenergyconsumption.

TERRITORIAL, ECONOMICANDSOCIAL IMPACTOF
THECOMPANY'SBUSINESS
The LISIGroup is firmly rooted inFrance, particularly inFrancheComté.
Indeed,of theGroup's38productionsites, 17are located inFrance (49%)
ofwhich5 inFrancheComté, theCompany'sbirthplace. These 17French
sitesrepresent54%oftheworkforce.
At foreign sites, the vast majority of employees come from the local
population, thus contributing to thedevelopmentof the local economic
andsocial fabric.
The LISI Group has a total of 16 expatriates out of its 9,239 employees
which is very low, and shows that sites mostly employ staff from the
local population. Expatriates aremostlyManagers, which also ensures
compliancewithGroup'soperatingrules.

3.2.1Theconditionsfordialoguewiththosepersonsand
organizations 
The international standards ISO 14001andOHSAS 18001 haveasoneof
their basic principles, dialogwith the InterestedParties. LISI has based
its system of environmental, health, and safetymanagement on these
standards.
Thus, individuals and/or organizations interested in the company's
businesshavebeen identifiedby the sites, aswell as their expectations.
All requestsreceivearesubject fromthesites.
3.2.2Partnershipandsponsorshipactivities
TheLISIGroup isamajor economicplayer inall areaswhere itoperates.
It thus contributes to employment at the local level andparticipates in
localand regionaldevelopment.Asignificantnumberofemployeesalso
participate inthedynamismofassociations,clubs,clusters,networksand
otherprofessionalorganizations.
Such professional organizations include the GIFAS (the Group of
French Aerospace Industries) for LISI AEROSPACE, AFFIX (Association
of Manufacturers of Mechanical Fasteners) and DSV (Deutsche
Schraubenverband) for LISI AUTOMOTIVEandSNITEM (National Union
ofthe IndustryofMedicalTechnology) forLISIMEDICAL.
LISI is also regularly involved in networks to help 2nd and 3rd level
suppliers develop by sharing best practices in terms of industrial
excellence, as is the case, for example, with the Vehicle of the Future
Segment (segmentofexcellence in theautomotive industry)or theClub
ofCEOsoftheSouth.
Inaddition,LISIencourageslocalpartnershipsandexchanges,particularly
thedevelopmentof close relationshipswithschools,universitiesand the
top colleges (Engineering,Management, etc.) Inorder to anticipate, for
eachdivision, thefuturerequirements intermsofemploymentandskills.
