But it is from the
behavioral
standpoint that the LISIGrouphas chosen
toputup thegreatestefforts.75%ofworkplaceaccidents involving time
off have a behavioral component, whether conscious or unconscious.
Thepointhere ismainlytogivesecuritytheplace itdeserves: itshouldbe
theprimaryconcernattheheartofworkshops, sincethesearewherethe
vastmajorityof accidentsoccur. This is reflectedby the fact that Safety
is the first of the topics discussed at the daily PSM (Problem Solving
Management)meetingsateach level of sitemanagement (Independent
ProductionGroup- IndependentProductionUnit-Site).
Eachemployee,whetheroperatorormanager,builds thissafetyculture.
Everyoneshouldparticipate increatingaworkenvironmentwhere risk is
under control.Andeachemployeemust alsopayattention to theirown
safetyaswellasthatoftheircolleagues.

Agreements on health and safety at work are integrated into the list
presented in1.3.2.

The establishment of a genuine safety culture takes time. However,
LISI recordeda steady improvement in the fieldof safetywith thework
conducted inthreeareas: technical,organizational,andhuman.

At the end of 2013, the frequency rate of accidents of workwith ruling
involving a LISI employee or an interim (TF0) improved slightly to
reach10,4permillionhoursworked,or2percentbetterthan in2012.The
frequency rate of accidents of workwith andwithout (TF1) Agreement
shows16.3,which isaslight improvementof1% from2012.
In the long term, continuouswork carriedout by all employees helped
improve the TF1 by 45% over 2005, the first year of accident statistic
consolidation.
In2013, some sitesof theGroupdidnot lament any industrial accidents
with ruling, such as Rugby, Cejc, St Brieuc or Escondido. Others did
not deplore any accident - whether with or without ruling - such as
Heidelberg,Lure,Shanghai,ParamountorTangier.
Nevertheless, the LISI Groupdeplored 37 cases of occupational sickness
on all its sites, despite the many efforts made in establishing safe
handlingmethodsorwearingprotectivehearingequipment.
If severity rateTG0,which represents thenumberofdays lostdue toan
accidentatworkperthousandhoursworkedhasdeterioratedcompared
with last year, it remains at a low level. This ratehas decreased from 71
since2005toreach0.28 inDecember2013.
Eachemployeeplaysamajorrole inpreventionmattersandLISIworksfor
the involvementofallemployees inthisrespect.

TRAINING
TheGroupattachesparticularimportancetothetrainingofitsemployees
andconsiders that theenforcementofemployees' skills isamajor factor
forthe improvementofquality,efficiencyandcompetitiveness.
LISI ensures that each employee, regardless of his/her age or position,
has access throughout his career to the training courses necessary for
the constructionofhis careerpathandhisadaptation to changes in the
businesses.
Thebudget for in-houseandexternal trainingonall the sitesof the LISI
Groupamountedto€4.6Mwhichrepresents1.6%oftheGroup’spayroll.
Thisbudgetenablestheprovisionofmorethan260,000hoursoftraining
to the employees of the group, representing 1.7% of the total hours
workedduringtheyear2013.
Therefore, more than 6,500 employees have benefited from at least
sevenhourstraining(or70%oftheGroup’semployees),whichrepresents
an increaseofnearly20% from2012.
LISI activelypursues its contribution to the integrationof youngpeople
intothe labormarketbyallowing largenumbersofstudentstocomeand
discover thebusinessand itsactivities,whether through thecompletion
of internshipsorperiodsofapprenticeship.
During 2013, LISI welcomed 661 interns, 174 apprentices and 82 work
experiencecontractsacrossall itssitesand itsthreedivisions.
