The establishment of aprudential culture sharedby all is developed
over the long term. At the end of 2013, the frequency rate of work
accidents with work stoppage involving a LISI employee or a
temporary employee (TF0) was lowered to 10.4 per million hours
worked.Theaccidentfrequencyrate,withandwithoutworkstoppage
(TF1),isat16.3,an improvementof45%comparedto2005.Theseverity
rate (TGO),whichmeasuresthenumberofdays lostduetoanaccident
atworkperthousandhoursworked,remainsata low level (0.28),even
if this level has deteriorated comparedwith last year, this rate has
decreasedby71%since2005.

Eachproductionsitehasat leastoneHSE facilitator
who is guarantor of the implementation of the
Group policy on these issues. TheGroup also has
a Risk Committee to analyze accidents andmajor
incidents and to establish remediation strategies
to reduce professional, environmental and loss of
property risk.
Safetyandergonomics
Themeans implemented toachieve theobjectives
set by theGroupare considerable. In 2013, LISI has
invested €5.3 million in the field of safety and
the environment, including safety ofmachinery,
the ergonomic layout of workstations - amajor
HealthandSafety
issue - or in support tools for handling. From an
organizational point of view, 29 sites have so far
implemented an OHSAS 18001 type safety and
healthmanagement system. Furthermore, 0.23%
ofhoursworkedweredevoted toHSE training.The
deployment of the LEAP continuous improvement
program also supports the effort, namely in
modifying so-called at-risk behavior (75% of
accidentsatworkwithrulinghaveanunconscious
orconsciousbehavioralcomponent).Securitytoday
is the firstof the topicsdiscussedatdailymeetings
of PSM (ProblemSolvingManagement), settingup
the LEAP program at each level of management
sites,unitsorautonomousproductiongroups.
