PLANT

The PSM1 helps identify and

manage problems that may

arise in this mini-plant that is the

Autonomous Production Group

within a site. It induces a real

progress momentum in the team

that makes up the group.

MANAGER

OF THE LISI MEDICAL PLANT AT NEYRON

The PSM (Problem Solving

Methodology) is based on

three levels: the PSM1 for the

autonomous production group (GAP,

equivalent to a production line), the

PSM2 for the autonomous production

unit (a set of lines), and the PSM3

for the plant. This bottom-up

organization helps find solutions to

problems where they appear.
