LISI AUTOMOTIVE New equipment for research management The central laboratories of LISI AUTOMOTIVE acquired new cut ting-edge equipment in 2019 to suppor t research and innovation in multi-material assemblies. The division has acquired an instrumented screwdriver to conduct assemblies by fluo-tapping (tapping by plastic deformation, without pre-drilling) with perfect control of the different fluo-screwing parameters: speed, penetration force, torque, etc. Investing in an electromechanical fatigue machine allows to qualify the assemblies in terms of fatigue resistance and relaxation in service. The division has also purchased a scanning electron microscope in order to characterize the microstructure of the materials and guarantee their conformity. 43 LISI 2019
