Production is concentrated on high volume

in the manufacture of fastener solutions for
automotive markets and industry. With six
large ranges of fastener products: fasteners for
tubes, panels and axles, clips and rivets, plugs
and cable grommets, snap-on nuts and clipped
nuts, cage screws and specialist products, the
LISI AUTOMOTIVE Rapid plant produces over
600millionpartsannually.
Plastic injection, cutting and stamping of
sheet metals, thermal treatment, testing and
automatic assembly are the main processes of
this plant. The on-site development team allows
LISI AUTOMOTIVE Rapid to innovate on clipped
products to meet the requirements of global
manufacturersandOEMs.

– Forging&Casting
The Bologne Forging and Casting site specializes
in the forgingofaeronauticalparts.Thisplantpro-
duces parts used in the structure of the fuselage
andwings, the landinggear andbraking systems,
as well as helicopter rotors and precision-forged
engineblades.
Meeting the most stringent demands, com-
ponents producedby theBologne teams areused
in anddeveloped for all new aerospace programs
(A320NEO,A350,H160etc.) aswell as for engines
(Silvercrest,Leap,etc.).
The Forging and Casting unit is the center of
expertise andR&D for hot forging processing of
all metallic aeronautical materials with themost
demandingmetallurgical requirements (titanium,
aluminum, special steels, nickel-based alloys,
metalmatrixcomposite,etc.).
Free forging, stamping, hydroforming,machining,
surface treatmentsandnon-destructive testingare
carried out in order to deliver ready-to-assemble
parts to aircraft manufacturers, automotive sup-
pliersandaviationenginemanufacturers.
